Steven Mark Hahn was born and grew up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, where he took various acting classes at the prestigious "Guthrie Theater" in Downtown Minneapolis , he received accolades from numerous instructors for his charisma and screen presence (He reminded a lot of his instructors of Sean Penn, Patrick Dempsey, and even a young Eric Roberts.). He has also acted in several Independent and student films, most notably an independent film called Los Enchiladas!, which was accepted and premiered at Robert Redford's Prestigious 1999 Sun-dance Film Festival... Steve got a great opportunity to work with some of the funniest comedians in America while shooting that film, including Mitch Hedberg, Mark Maron, and Dave Atell. Steve also appeared in the 1994 blockbuster comedy Grumpy Old Men where he had two lines with Ann Margaret, as a moving man. (Steve received his SAG Card while working on this film ).. He has also worked in television on such shows as Picked Fences, Boston Common and Beverly Hills 90210, and also various Soap Operas. Steve has finished work on the Independent short film "Rice Park" due out November 2010. He plays a lonely stock broker from Chicago when he meets an intriguing woman in Rice Park and a tempestuous love affair follows. Steve just finished another small independent film called "The Hostiles" where he and his partner extort money from their business.(Due out in the fall of 2010)... Steve is also writing his own Screen Play and hopes to start production in the summer of 2011...It is a back-drop to an Olympic Hockey story , with a love angle to it and lots of Flash Back Scenes of a crazy childhood to go with it ... If that is Not enough, Steve is also the Writer , Creator, and Host of a Show That he started in order to get Homeless animals to good Homes!!!..it s called Adopt a Pet (Clips can be seen on you tube) ..He is also working on "Park Update", a news and information show about Steve s Hometown of St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Steve plays several sports. His best are baseball where he received MVP in college and was voted on several various all-star teams. He also is very good at hockey, tennis and racquetball.
