Lovisa Karlsson
Laki, previously known as Lakidoris or Ida Lovisa Johanna Karlsson, born October 14, 1997, in the Djurö parish of Stockholm County, is a Swedish YouTuber. Her YouTube channel, where she primarily vlogs, had around 308,000 subscribers and approximately 107 million views as of November 2024. Karlsson addresses topics such as awkwardness surrounding sex, PMS, and anxiety. She enjoys challenging norms, such as when she shaved her head in a video, saying, "because women are apparently supposed to have long hair," which became her most viewed video with about a million views (2018). Karlsson has been nominated for the Guldtuben awards in the categories of "Vlogger of the Year" and "Humor of the Year." In 2017, she ranked 15th in the "Most Powerful on YouTube" category in the Power Barometer, an annual survey conducted by the nonprofit organization Medieakademin. In 2019, she co-hosted the show Edvin och Laki hjälper on SVT Play with influencer Edvin Törnblom, where they took on various challenges such as organizing picnics or redecorating rooms. She also appeared on Mia Skäringer's show Kroppshets, which aired on SVT in 2018. From 2018 to 2022, she hosted the podcast Laki & Katten with Ebba Lindblom, which launched over 100 episodes. Since 2023, she has been co-hosting the podcast Hör här! with Carl Tuleus. The podcast was nominated for a Guldörat in 2024.
